Accelerating Biosensor Discovery: A Computationally‐Driven Pipeline for Microplastics Monitoring
Advanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.A computationally guided pipeline unites molecular simulation, synthetic biology, electrochemical engineering, and machine learning to accelerate biosensor discovery. A Bacillus anthracis carbohydrate‐binding module is used to develop a high‐performance micro‐ and nanoplastics sensor with greatly reduced error and variability.

Asia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Four benzothiophenes, thianaphthene (BT‐1), 3‐bromothianaphthene (BT‐2), benzo[b]thiophene‐2‐carboxaldehyde (BT‐3), and benzo[b]thiophene‐2‐carbonitrile (BT‐4), were tested as mild steel corrosion inhibitors in 1‐M HCl. The compounds have the similar benzothiophene core but differ in the substituents bound to the ring.

Journal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 142, Issue 16, April 20, 2025.ABSTRACT In this study, hydrogels based on [2‐(Methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium chloride (MOEAMCl) and methacrylamide (MAAm) were synthesized for the removal of anionic dyes from aqueous solutions.
