On the Renewal Risk Model with Constant Interest Force [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Risk Analysis and Crisis Response (JRACR), 2013
In this paper, we consider a renewal risk model with constant interest force for an insurance portfolio. We discuss equations for the survival probability and its Laplace-Stieltjes transforms have been obtained.

The generalized Stieltjes transform and its inverse [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The generalized Stieltjes transform (GST) is an integral transform that depends on a parameter rho> 0. In previous work a convenient form of the inverse transformation was derived for the case rho= 3/2.

Performance Measures in a Generalized Asymmetric Simple Inclusion Process

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
Performance measures are studied for a generalized n-site asymmetric simple inclusion process (G-ASIP), where a general process controls intervals between gate-opening instants.

Analysis of Stochastic M/M/c/N Inventory System with Queue-Dependent Server Activation, Multi-Threshold Stages and Optional Retrial Facility

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
The purpose of this article is to examine the server activation policy (SAP) in a multi-server queuing-inventory system (MQIS). The queue has a total of c number of multi-threshold stages as well as c-homogeneous servers.

On Gauge‐Invariant Entire Function Regulators and UV Finiteness in Non Local Quantum Field Theory

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 538, Issue 4, April 2026.
We regulate the theory with an entire function of the covariant operator F(□/M∗2)$F(\square /M^{2}_{*})$. In the perturbative vacuum this becomes a momentum‐space factor F(−p2/M∗2)$F(-p^{2}/M^{2}_{*})$ that exponentially damps high momenta, most transparent after Wick rotation, rendering loop integrals UV finite.

Inversion Theorems for the Laplace-Stieltjes Transform

open access: yes, 1966
The Laplace-Stieltjes transform f(x) of the function α(t) is denned by1where α(t) is a function of bounded variation in each closed interval [0, R] (R > 0) and the right-hand side of (1) is supposed to be convergent for some x = X0.

A Survey of SIR‐Based Differential Epidemic Models for Control and Security Against Malware Propagation in Computer Networks

open access: yesSECURITY AND PRIVACY, Volume 9, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
ABSTRACT Unarguably, malware and their variants have metamorphosed into objects of attack and cyber warfare. These issues have directed research focus to modeling infrastructural settings and infection scenarios, analyzing propagation mechanisms, and conducting studies that highlight optimized remedial measures.

Analysis of an N–Policy GI/M/1 Queue in a Multi–Phase Service Environmentwith Disasters

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, 2018
This paper investigates an N-policy GI/M/1 queue in a multi-phase service environment with disasters, where the system tends to suffer from disastrous failures while it is in operative service environments, making all present customers leave the system ...

Heterogeneous Media Heat Transfer Simulations Based on 3D‐Fractional Parametric Laplace Kernel

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This paper introduces a new Mittag–Leffler–Laplace memory kernel defined by Φ˜μ,ν,κα,ρs=∫0∞Eρ−μξκ/κξνα−1e−sξdξ, s>0, and develops a unified framework for modeling heat transfer in heterogeneous media with nonlocal temporal memory. The proposed kernel combines algebraic singularity, stretched attenuation, and fractional relaxation through independent ...

Analysis of Switching the Purchase Option in a Two‐Commodity Perishable Inventory System

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This research examines a queueing‐inventory model that includes two perishable commodities, each having a distinct lifetime, service duration, lead time, and individual (s, Q) ordering policy. The system consists of two finite‐capacity waiting zones for two distinct types of clients, with arrivals governed by independent Poisson processes.
