Encoding the Laplace transform of stimulus history using mechanisms for persistent firing [PDF]
Persistent firing has been observed in slice preparations from a variety of brain regions believed to be important in memory [1-3]. Information about a transient stimulus can be reflected in persistently elevated firing rate over many minutes. What computation could persistent firing cells support? In particular the lack of forgetting observed in slice

Laplace barriers composed of full-posts or ridges have been previously reported as a mechanism for virtual fluid confinement, but with unstable displacement (capillary fingering or fluid trapping, respectively).

The miscibility of foreign elements in rutile‐type IrO2 and SnO2 is greatly enhanced under high Laplace pressure, where their crystal size is reduced to the nanoscale. This enhancement leads to the successful synthesis of DSA‐composition solid‐solution nanocatalysts with notable durability during the acidic OER in water electrolysis.

Abstract In this paper, we are putting forward the periodic solution of non-linear oscillators by means of variational iterative method (VIM) using Laplace transform. Here, we present a comparative study of the new technique based on Laplace transform and the previous techniques of maximum minimum approach (MMA) and amplitude ...

Application Of Inverted Pendulum in Laplace Transformation of Mathematics Physics
The Laplace transform is a technique used to convert differential equations into algebra, it is often used for the analysis of dynamic systems and inverted pendulum systems. An inverted pendulum is a mechanism that moves objects from one place to another
