A Method for Oscillation‐Free Dynamic IR Compensation During Potentiostatic Electrolyses

open access: yesSmall Methods, Volume 10, Issue 3, 9 February 2026.
This work introduces a simple, fully adaptive IR compensation method using commonly used (Metrohm Autolab PGSTAT) potentiostats, ensuring accurate potential control even under high‐current conditions when the solution resistance is dynamically changing.

Polarized Heterojunction in a Doubly Doped Layer‐by‐Layer Structure to Obtain an Organic Photovoltaic Device of 20.5% Efficiency

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 3, 16 January 2026.
A solvent‐mediated infiltration doping strategy was proposed, enabling efficient double doping in organic photovoltaics. By spatially separating F4TCNQ and DMBI dopants within a D18/L8‐BO layer‐by‐layer architecture, dopant crosstalk and trap formation are minimized by controlling the penetration depth.

A general approach to the linear stability of viscoelastic shear‐flows

open access: yesZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, Volume 106, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract The present work provides an in‐depth analysis of the linear stability theory of viscoelastic shear‐flows, based upon a constitutive equation of the fading memory type. The particular model considered herein was introduced by Kenneth Walters through the integration of classical rate‐type fluids in a convected frame (Walters 1962).

Tackling Small Lunar Impact Crater Classification: A Novel Augmented Data Set and Enhanced Deep Learning Framework

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 3, Issue 1, February 2026.
Abstract Small lunar impact craters, exhibiting diverse morphological characteristics, represent the most abundant geological features on the Moon's surface. These structures serve as crucial indicators for understanding regolith thickness distribution and surface modification processes.

Modal Analysis of Water Distribution Systems With the Elastic Water Column Model

open access: yesWater Resources Research, Volume 62, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract This paper presents a modal and participation factor (PF) analysis of water distribution systems (WDSs) using the elastic water column model (EWCM). Modal analysis, widely used in other engineering fields, is adapted here to characterize the dynamic behavior of WDSs under transient conditions. By linearizing the EWCM around an operating point,
