Enhanced Acoustic Adhesion Enabling Agile and Small Wall‐Climbing Robot Design With Anisotropic Origami Structure [PDF]

open access: yesAdvanced science
This 28 g robot incorporates innovative ring structures and anisotropic origami springs to achieve high speeds and exceptional load capacity. It successfully carries a 100 g payload while ascending walls or ceilings at speeds of up to 8 and 20 cm/s, demonstrating enhanced adhesion and maneuverability over current climbing robots.
