Cournot–Nash equilibria in continuum games with non-ordered preferences. [PDF]
In the usual framework of continuum games with externalities, we substantially generalize Cournot–Nash existence results [Balder, A unifying approach to existence of Nash equilibria, Int.

Continuum reduction in large N gauge theories
These are notes associated with three lectures given at the 49th Cracow School of Theoretical physics where a pedagogical explanation of the Gross-Witten transition, Eguchi-Kawai reduction and continuum reduction were given, followed by a description of the numerical computation of fermionic observables in the 't Hooft limit of large N gauge theory.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

On the Existence of Pure Strategy Nash Equilibria in Large Games [PDF]
Over the years, several formalizations of games with a continuum of players have been given. These include those of Schmeidler (1973), Mas-Colell (1984) and Khan and Sun (1999).

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Spatial-to-spectral phase coupling mechanisms in bulk continuum generation
We study the coherence properties of continuum generation in YAG crystals seeded by 180 fs pulses at 1035 nm when the driving beam exhibits small fluctuations of the spatial phase.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Characterization of Risk : A Sharp Law of Large Numbers [PDF]
An extensive literature in economics uses a continuum of random variables to model individual random shocks imposed on a large population. Let H denote the Hilbert space of square-integrable random variables.

Application of the continuum shell finite element SHB8PS to sheet forming simulation using an extended large strain anisotropic elastic–plastic formulation [PDF]
http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs00419-012-0620-xThis paper proposes an extension of the SHB8PS solid–shell finite element to large strain anisotropic elasto-plasticity, with application to several non-linear benchmark tests including sheet ...
