Large deviations for stochastic predator–prey model with Lévy noise

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis
This paper discusses the large deviations for stochastic predator–prey model driven by multiplicative Lévy noise. Using Galerkin approximation, we initially prove the existence and uniqueness of solution. Due to the equivalence between Laplace principle

A LARGE DEVIATION PRINCIPLE OF REFLECTING DIFFUSIONS

open access: yesTaiwanese Journal of Mathematics, 1998
In this paper, we will prove that the solution of stochastic differential equation with a small diffusion coefficient in a nonsmooth domain normally reflected at boundary satisfies a large deviation principle and converges to a deterministic path in $L^p$.

Large‐Deviation Principle for Interacting Brownian Motions [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, 2016
AbstractWe prove the large‐deviation principle for the empirical process in a system of locally interacting Brownian motions in the nonequilibrium. Such a phenomenon has been proven only for two lattice systems: the symmetric simple exclusion process and the zero‐range process.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Exit times for some nonlinear autoregressive processes

open access: yesModern Stochastics: Theory and Applications
The expected exit time from the interval $[-1,1]$ is investigated for an autoregressive process defined recursively by \[ {X_{n+1}^{\varepsilon }}=f\big({X_{n}^{\varepsilon }}\big)+\varepsilon {\xi _{n+1}},\hspace{1em}n=0,1,2,\dots ,\hspace{2.5pt}{X_ ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Scalable video transmission system in software-dened wireless Mesh networks [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2019
In order to realize adaptive video transmission in Wireless Mesh Networks(WMN),a scalable video transmission system based on Software-Defined Networking(SDN) is proposed. The SDN architecture separates the control plane and the controller is responsible ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

Large Deviation Principle for complex solution to squared Bessel SDE [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
Complex solutions to squared Bessel SDEs appear naturally in relation to Schramm-Loewner evolutions. We prove a large deviation principle for such solutions as the dimension parameter tends to $-\infty$.Comment: 12 ...

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...
