ABSTRACT Colchicine is a long‐established anti‐inflammatory and antimitotic drug that is widely prescribed for acute gout and other inflammatory conditions. Its mechanism of action involves the inhibition of microtubule polymerization, leading to cell cycle arrest in the G2/M phase, the most radiosensitive phase of the cell cycle.

Advanced Pancreatic Cancer Complicated by Nasogastric Tube Syndrome: A Case Report

ABSTRACT In selected palliative care patients with nasogastric tube syndrome but no signs of acute airway obstruction, conservative management with corticosteroids and proton pump inhibitors may allow safe retention of the tube. This approach balances essential nutritional support and symptom control against the risks of removal.
