A Laryngoscope for Obstetrical Use an Obstetrical Laryngoscope [PDF]
Rapid tracheal intubation, using the standard Macintosh laryngoscope, can be hindered in obstetrical patients by the handle of the laryngoscope hitting the patient's engorged breasts and the hand of the assistant applying cricoid pressure. To overcome these difficulties a variation of the laryngoscope is described.

Macintosh laryngoscope vs. Pentax-AWS video laryngoscope: comparison of efficacy and cardiovascular responses to tracheal intubation in major burn patients [PDF]
BackgroundPatients with major burns accompanied with airway edema need more attention for airway management. Although the Pentax-AWS has an advantage in managing endotracheal intubation more easily, its usefulness cannot be assured if it does not ...

Assessment of cervical spine movement during laryngoscopy with Macintosh and Truview laryngoscopes
Background: Truview laryngoscope provides an indirect view of the glottis and will cause less cervical spine movement since a ventral lifting force will not be required to visualize the glottis compared to Macintosh laryngoscope.
