Effect of inclusion of sodium butyrate, calcium propionate or sodium monensin in the starter feed on ruminal parameters and forestomach development in dairy calves [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
O objetivo neste trabalho foi avaliar o efeito da inclusão de butirato de sódio, monensina sódica ou propionato de cálcio no concentrado inicial sobre parâmetros ruminais e de desenvolvimento do trato digestório superior de bezerros leiteiros.

Liquid Chromatographic Determination of Lasalocid in Premixes

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 1978
Abstract A high pressure liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method has been developed to determine lasalocid in premixes. The method is simple and rapid, requiring an extraction of the drug and separation of insoluble material before HPLC. Elution times are typically <10 min per sample.

The Determination of Six Ionophore Coccidiostats in Feed by Liquid Chromatography with Postcolumn Derivatisation and Spectrofotometric/Fluorescence Detection

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2013
The control of levels of anticoccidial feed additives in targeted feeds plays an important role in the assurance of efficiency of animal treatment, prevention of drug resistance, and food safety.

Effects of rumensin and bovatec on growth, feed intake, and feed efficiency in dairy calves [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
One hundred Holstein heifers were used to examine the effects of monensin (Rumensin®) and lasalocid (Bovatec®) included in calf starter and grower diets.

Effects of Lasalocid on Performance of Lactating Dairy Cows

open access: yesJournal of Dairy Science, 1999
Sixty lactating dairy cows (30 multiparous and 30 primiparous) were used in a completely randomized block design to determine the effect of lasalocid supplementation on dairy cow performance. Starting wk 2 prepartum and lasting through wk 17 of lactation, cows received one of three experimental diets.

Identification of Aging‐Related Hub Genes (ATP11B, RBBP7, DOCK10, and NUP160) as Potential Biomarkers and Therapeutic Targets in Sepsis

open access: yesHuman Mutation, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Sepsis arises from a dysregulated host response to infection, leading to multiorgan inflammatory injury. Early diagnosis and treatment necessitate the identification of reliable immune biomarkers. This study investigated the relationship between aging, immunity, and sepsis by analyzing six human aging‐related gene sets (656 genes).

Combinatorial Biosynthesis Creates a Novel Aglycone Polyether with High Potency and Low Side Effects Against Bladder Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 11, Issue 32, August 27, 2024.
Based on the structure‐activity relationship of aglycone polyethers and the biosynthetic mechanisms of lenoremycin and endusamycin, new biosynthetic pathways are rationally designed, resulting in the creation of a novel C11‐glycosylated polyether, End‐16.

Lasalocid-Sulfur Amino Acid Interrelationship in the Chick

open access: yesPoultry Science, 1980
Several experiments were conducted with young healthy chicks to investigate the relationship between lasalocid and sulfur-containing amino acids (SAA). Chicks were housed in heated starter batteries in all experiments and were fed, in all but one trial, a completely purified crystalline amino acid diet.
