Scanning laser Doppler flowmetry in glaucoma [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Ophthalmology, 1996
Scanning laser Doppler flowmetry is a new means for the measurement of capillary perfusion. We studied the retinal and neuroretinal rim capillary perfusion with the Heidelberg Retina Flowmeter in one randomly selected eye of 31 healthy volunteers, 42 primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) patients and 17 normal pressure glaucoma (NPG) patients.

Comparison of laser speckle contrast imaging with laser Doppler for assessing microvascular function [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Objective: To compare the inter-day reproducibility of post-occlusive reactive hyperaemia (PORH) and sympathetic vasomotor reflexes assessed by single-point laser Doppler flowmetry (SP-LDF), integrating-probe LDF (IP-LDF) and laser speckle contrast ...

Dynamic evaluation of blood flow microcirculation by combined use of the laser Doppler flowmetry and high‐speed videocapillaroscopy methods

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, 2019
The dynamic light scattering methods are widely used in biomedical diagnostics involving evaluation of blood flow. However, there exist some difficulties in quantitative interpretation of backscattered light signals from the viewpoint of diagnostic ...

Endothelial dysfunction in clinical practice: the role of laser Doppler flowmetry (literature review)

open access: yesMìžnarodnij Endokrinologìčnij Žurnal, 2019
This literature review deals with endothelial dysfunction. Endothelial dysfunction is presented in noninfectious diseases of the 21st century and at the same moment is a predictor of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, especially in patients ...
