Inadequate laser coagulation is an important cause of treatment failure in Type 1 retinopathy of prematurity [PDF]
PURPOSE OF THE STUDY: To examine the cause of treatment failures in Type 1 retinopathy of prematurity (ROP).PATIENTS AND METHODS: The medical charts of all infants with disease persistence after laser treatment at Uppsala University Hospital, Sweden ...

ABSTRACT Genome‐wide association studies (GWAS) link the Tropomyosin 1 (Tpm1) locus to quantitative blood trait variation, but related mechanisms are unclear. Tpm1 encodes an actin‐binding protein that regulates actin filament diversity, cell adhesion, signaling, and actomyosin contractility.

Fetoscopic Laser Coagulation in Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome: Case Series [PDF]
Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome is a fatal complication and twins with monochorionic/diamniotic placentas are affected due to placental vascular anastomoses, producing volume transfer of blood from one twin to the other.

This study presents a human Bone (and Bone Marrow)‐on‐a‐Chip model based on native human bone scaffolds and autologous cells. Dynamic perfusion and sequential cell seeding replicate the physiological bone remodeling process in vitro, enabling the long‐term culture of functional, mature bone marrow immune subpopulations.

Interstitial laser coagulation in Twin Reversed Arterial Perfusion sequence [PDF]
Twin Reversed Arterial Perfusion (TRAP) sequence complicates about 1% of all monochorionic twin pregnancies and about 1 to 35000 of all pregnancies. It involves an acardiac twin whose structural defects are incompatible with life, and an otherwise normal

ABSTRACT Osteoarthritis (OA) is a widespread degenerative joint condition marked by progressive cartilage breakdown, and a chronic inflammatory microenvironment, where conventional therapies largely fail to halt disease progression. To address this unmet need, an intra‐articularly implantable, disease‐responsive scaffold was developed for combinatorial

FGL2‐HDAC11 Drives Immunothrombosis via NETs‐Mediated Endothelial Capillarization in MASLD Fibrosis
ABSTRACT Metabolic dysfunction–associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is frequently accompanied by hepatic fibrosis and systemic cardiovascular complications; however, the mechanistic interplay between coagulation abnormalities and disease progression remains poorly defined.

Integrative multi‐omics analysis delineates a mitochondrial–immune axis governing neoadjuvant chemotherapy response in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer. Immune‐active tumors exhibit enhanced B‐cell infiltration and favorable sensitivity, whereas metabolically rewired tumors display oxidative phosphorylation dependency and resistance.
