Small Incision Lenticule Extraction (SMILE) versus Femtosecond Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis (FS-LASIK) for Myopia: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2016
Purpose The goal of this study was to compare small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) with femtosecond laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (FS-LASIK) for treating myopia. Methods The CENTRAL, EMBASE, PubMed databases and a Chinese database (SinoMed)

The Roads to LPA Based Free Electron Laser [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
In this paper, we simply outline the present status of the free electron laser and the laser plasma based accelerator, and we simply discuss the potential possible roads appearing in the accelerator community to use the laser plasma based accelerator into the field of the free electron laser.

Peripheral refraction in myopic eyes after LASIK surgery [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
PURPOSE: To characterize the axial and off-axis refraction across the horizontal meridian of the visual field before and after myopic laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) surgery.

Study on high pressure plasma produced by ArF laser [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2004
When an ArF excimer laser beam was focused in a high pressure argon gas from 50 to 130 atm, the plasma development is observed by streak camera from side window of chamber. The high pressure ArF laser plasma develops symmetrically and the plasma produced by ArF excimer laser hardly develops as compared with the plasma produced by XeCl.

Fifteen years follow-up of photorefractive keratectomy up to 10 D of myopia: outcomes and analysis of the refractive regression [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
PURPOSE: To evaluate outcomes of photorefractive keratectomy up to -10.00 D of myopia and -4.50 of astigmatism and to develop a predictive model for the refractive changes in the long term.
