Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Laser plasma linac

open access: yesConference on Lasers and Electro-Optics, 1985
We present a proposal for a very high-gradient (~10-GeV/m) linac powered by a picosecond CO2 laser. The accelerating structure would be formed by a double row of droplets ejected from an array of nozzles etched in silicon. The high fields (of the order of 10 GeV/pm) would form a conducting plasma on the droplet surfaces to form a resonant cavitylike ...

Unraveling Quantitative Sensing Mechanism and Predictive Molecular Metrics for High‐Performance OFET Amine Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces a novel chloro boron subphthalocyanine/polymer blend OFET sensor achieving 0.005 ppb limit of detection for ammonia at room temperature and high selectivity against similar amines. An original theoretical framework is proposed to describe the sensing mechanism, relating analyte molecular volume and Lewis basicity to sensor ...

Nanodiamond‐Based Quantum Sensing Reveals Changes in Endo‐Lysosomal Activity of Stimulated Cardiac Fibroblasts in a Cellular Fibrosis Model

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Quantum sensing reveals intricate patterns linking endo‐lysosomal maturation to cardiac fibrosis progression, highlighting complexity in cellular remodeling. This study investigates fibroblast‐to‐myofibroblast transition under cell aging, stiffness, and TGF‐β stimulation, comparing nanodiamond uptake, endo‐lysosomal dynamics, and free radical ...
