Living Materials Approach for In Situ Bio‐Polymers Production Using Bacillus Paralicheniformis in Microneedles

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Dissolvable microneedle (MN) device containing Bacillus paralicheniformis. The polymeric matrix encapsulates and protects the bacteria, preserving their viability while enabling in situ production and release of γ‐polyglutamic acid. The bacteria are delivered into the skin via 500 µm‐long microneedles, and remain detectable on the skin 24 h post ...

Biomechanics of Laser Speckle Fields Produced by Probing Scattering Tissues in Vivo

open access: yesМеханика машин, механизмов и материалов, 2010
The formation and dynamics of the speckle field pattern by probing 3D nonstationary media with laser beam have been described. The examples of use of the laws of the speckle fields dynamics for bio-tissues monitoring in vivo have been given.

Targeting the ARRDC3–DRP1 Axis via hUMSC‐Derived Exosomal CRYAB for Neuroprotection in Cerebral Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Intranasally administered hUMSC‐derived exosomes modulate the CRYAB–ARRDC3–Drp1 axis, alleviating mitochondrial dysfunction and ferroptosis, enhancing neuronal survival, reducing oxidative stress, and promoting functional recovery in ischemia‐reperfusion injury, offering a promising therapeutic strategy for ischemic stroke.

Tailoring Anderson localization by disorder correlations in 1D speckle potentials

open access: yes, 2013
We study Anderson localization of single particles in continuous, correlated, one-dimensional disordered potentials. We show that tailored correlations can completely change the energy-dependence of the localization length.

Effect of static scatterers in laser speckle contrast imaging: an experimental study on correlation and contrast

open access: yesPhysics in Medicine and Biology, 2017
Laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) is a non-invasive microvascular blood flow assessment technique with good temporal and spatial resolution. Most LSCI systems, including commercial devices, can perform only qualitative blood flow evaluation, which is
