A technique is presented to determine surface contours of 3-D objects by laser speckle interferometry. A double exposure specklegram is recorded by giving the object a small tilt between exposures. Surface contours are obtained by Fourier filtering of the specklegram.

Dynamic laser speckle analysis using the event sensor.
Applied Optics, 2020Dynamic laser speckle analysis (DLSA) can obtain useful information about the scene dynamics. Traditional implementations use intensity-based imaging sensors such as a complementary metal oxide semiconductor and charge-coupled device to capture time ...

We demonstrate experimentally that the intensity correlation function with shift in the scattered wave vector or with identical shifts in both the incident and scattered wave vectors form Fourier transform pairs, respectively, with the intensity distribution on the output surface and the propagator between the input and output surfaces. Measurements in

A new rotary encoder is proposed which detects displacement of speckle arising in the diffraction field of a cylinder illuminated by a narrow laser beam. The displacement is detected from the peak position of the cross-correlation between the outputs of a linear image sensor.

Laser speckle projection tomography
Optics Letters, 2013We propose a laser speckle projection tomography (LSPT) method to obtain a three-dimensional (3D) flowing image. The method combines the advantages of optical projection tomography and laser speckle imaging to reconstruct the visualization of 3D flowing structure.

High‐Power Multimode Random Fiber Laser for Speckle‐Free Imaging
Annals of Physics, 2021New light sources with low spatial coherence and high brightness are crucial for high‐quality imaging. In this paper, such a light source is reported, which is formed by combining random lasing used as seed light with a multimode fiber (MMF) mediated ...
