Laser surface texturing of granite
Abstract Presence of contaminants on surfaces becomes a significant problem both in industry and at home. Small particles or bacteria adhered to surfaces of domestic kitchens are not easily removed by regular cleaning procedures. The effect of substratum wettability upon contaminants adhesion has been known for a long time.

A giant magnetic coercivity and a vertical shift of hysteresis loops are demonstrated in Sr3YCo4O10+δ epitaxial films. The hard magnetic behavior originates from ferromagnetic spin bags stabilized within a long‐range ordered oxygen‐vacancy structure.

Reducing Feature Size in Laser Implantation Texturing
Embossing rolls are used in a variety of sectors to transfer surface textures to a product. Textures on the rolls are typically achieved by material-removal techniques, resulting in craters in the surface of the roll. The wear resistance of the surfaces is improved by additional coating technologies.

Optical Signature of Moiré Superlattices Formed by Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes
We discover optical signatures from bonded interfaces in twisted SrTiO3 moiré superlattices, including low‐frequency Raman vibrational modes and strong second‐harmonic generation, consistent with strong interlayer coupling inferred from cross‐sectional electron microscopy and ab initio calculations. ABSTRACT Moiré superlattices formed at the interfaces

Thermal conductivity changes non‐monotonically as regioregular (RR) and regiorandom (RRa) P3HT films are doped with F4TCNQ as a function of the extent to which P3HT is doped: an increase in thermal conductivity is observed upon lightly doping P3HT compared to the undoped film, followed by a decrease in the heavily doped regime. ABSTRACT The performance
