Group Delay Dispersion Measurements on Mid‐Infrared Supermirrors

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 14, Issue 3, 19 January 2026.
Group delay dispersion of novel semiconductor‐based optics is measured in the mid‐infrared spectral range (2.5 to 4.8 μm$\rm \umu{\rm m}$). Comparisons are made between simulations, measurements conducted with a home‐built white light interferometer, and measurements performed with a commercially available FTIR.

Recent Progress in Mechanoluminescence for Multi‐Dimensional Stress Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 5, 27 January 2026.
Multi‐dimensional stress visualization technology (0D point detection, 1D linear distribution, 2D planar imaging, 3D volume reconstruction) has become a focus of attention in the field of stress sensing. The transition from “points” to “multi‐dimensional spatial fields” facilitates real‐time, in situ, and high‐resolution visualization of stress ...

Magnesiated Si‐Rich SiOx Materials for High‐Performance Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 9, Issue 1, January 2026.
Premagnesiated Si‐rich SiOx composite delivers high ICE and reversible capacity. Si/Mg2SiO4 composite is synthesized via high‐energy mechanical milling followed by MgH2 treatment. Cycle performance is improved without compromising ICE by forming a Mg2SiO4 phase that suppresses irreversible a‐SiO2 reactions and buffers volume changes in the Si‐rich ...

Review of Flash Joule Heating for the Synthesis of Graphene and Other Functional Carbon Materials

open access: yesCarbon Energy, Volume 8, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Flash Joule heating (FJH), as a high‐efficiency and low‐energy consumption technology for advanced materials synthesis, has shown significant potential in the synthesis of graphene and other functional carbon materials. Based on the Joule effect, the solid carbon sources can be rapidly heated to ultra‐high temperatures (> 3000 K) through ...
