Hybrid aluminium structures combining SLM and casting exhibit distinct corrosion behaviors linked to microstructural features. Electrochemical testing and surface analyses revealed that finer, uniformly dispersed grains enhance passivation and reduce corrosion rates, while coarser‐grained regions show greater susceptibility to localized attack ...

Partial liquid ventilation with oxygenized perfluorocarbon (PFC) is used to assess the limitations of imaging depth, caused by the refractive index mismatch between air and surfactants in the mouse lung. PFC does not help to overcome this limitation. Only removing scattering lipids and decolorization ex vivo, with tissue optical clearing, enhance the ...

Controlled Mechanical Anisotropy in 3D‐Printed Thermoplastic Elastomeric Composites
This work achieves controlled mechanical anisotropy through the spatial arrangement of soft and rigid segments using ABS+TPE core–shell filaments. Unidirectional raster localization enables targeted bending, providing precise mechanical control.

When photothermally irradiated, hollow gold nanoshells prepared using silver nanoparticles as templates and stabilized by citrate, exhibit unexpected optical changes. The localized surface plasmon resonance is blueshifts, and more surprisingly, the surface‐enhanced Raman scattering intensity of an adsorbed analyte increases.

Feasibility Study of Layer Separation Using 2D Patterned Internal Laser Damage in Silicon
Abstract Laser lift‐off (LLO) technology is widely used to separate ultra‐thin electronic devices and in advanced packaging but typically relies on a specialized laser‐responsive layer, adding complexity. This paper presents an innovative take on stealth dicing by using a pulsed laser in a two‐dimensional plane to create a separation interface without ...
