Single‐Cell Metabolic Imaging and Digital Scoring of Fat Tissue Remodeling by Label‐Free Metabolic Microscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mid‐infrared optoacoustic microscopy (MiROM) acquires lipid‐ and protein‐ associated vibrational contrast in intact fat tissue without dyes, preserving native tissue architecture. Through lateral and axial segmentation, MiROM tracks intrinsic intracellular changes during postnatal remodeling. A quantitative spatial analysis tool (Q‐SAT) maps white‐ and

A statistical framework for the quantitative spectroscopy of luminous blue stars

open access: yesAstronomy & Astrophysics
Context. Quantitative spectroscopy of luminous blue stars relies on detailed non-local thermodynamic equilibrium (non-LTE) model atmospheres whose increasing physical realism makes direct iterative analyses computationally demanding. Aims.

Swift/UVOT Photometry of the Planetary Nebula WeBo 1: Unmasking A Faint Hot Companion Star [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We present an analysis of over 150 ks of data on the planetary nebula WeBo 1 (PN G135.6+01.0) obtained with the Swift Ultraviolet Optical Telescope (UVOT). The central object of this nebula has previously been described as a late-type K giant barium star

Spatial‐Wavelength Multiplexing Error‐Controlled Photonic Analog Computing System

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel photonic integrated circuit prototype implementing the concept of general‐purpose analog computing and demonstrate its capability in radio frequency applications. The chip features a multichannel architecture and performs fully optical analog computation with frequency‐domain parallel processing. An FPGA‐based error‐correction algorithm aims to

Recent Trends in Metabolomics by NMR Spectroscopy

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
AI tools were applied to analyze more than 5 000 publications indexed in Scopus (2018–2025), identifying key trends and research directions in NMR‐based metabolomics. The artificial intelligence‐assisted workflow classified papers into six main fields of application, human health, food and nutrition, veterinary science, plants, environment, and ...

A Study of Abundance Patterns in the Sextans and Sculptor Dwarf Spheroidal Galaxies

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
In this work, we employ a multicomponent decomposition model to study the Sextans and Sculptor dwarf spheroidal galaxies, which have distinct evolutionary histories.

Evidence for a New Class of Extreme UV Sources

open access: yes, 1996
Most of the sources detected in the extreme ultraviolet (EUV; 100 Ang to 600 Ang) by the Rosat WFC and EUVE all-sky surveys have been identified with active late-type stars and hot white dwarfs that are near enough to escape absorption by interstellar ...

The effect of magnetic activity saturation in chromospheric flux-flux relationships [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We present a homogeneous study of chromospheric and coronal flux-flux relationships using a sample of 298 late-type dwarf active stars with spectral types F to M.

AFar Ultraviolet Spectroscopic ExplorerSurvey of Late‐Type Dwarf Stars

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2002
We describe the 910-1180 Aspectra of seven late-type dwarf stars obtained with the Far Ultraviolet Spec- troscopic Explorer (FUSE) satellite. The stars include Altair (A7 IV), Procyon (F5 IV-V), Cen A (G2 V), AB Dor (K1 V), Cen B (K2 V), Eri (K2 V), and AU Mic (M0 V). We present line identifications, fluxes, Doppler shifts, and widths.

Ecological Adaptation Mechanisms Underlying Successful Plant Reproduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During floral induction, various environmental and endogenous signals converge to regulate the florigen protein, which is transported from leaves to the SAM to initiate flowering. Within the SAM, a complex network of receptor kinases and small peptides orchestrates floral development with high spatiotemporal precision.
