CAR T‐Cell Therapy in Neurology: A Scoping Review of Neuro‐Oncology, Autoimmune Diseases & Neurotoxicity

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T‐cell therapy has been investigated in neurological diseases, encompassing both central nervous system malignancies and autoimmune disorders, thereby extending its application beyond hematological cancers.

The evolution of the Greenland Ice Sheet from the Last Glacial Maximum to present-day: An assessment using glaciological and Glacial Isostatic Adjustment modelling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In this thesis we constrain a three-dimensional thermomechanical model of Greenland ice sheet (GrIS) evolution from the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM, 21 ka BP) to the present-day using, primarily, observations of relative sea level (RSL) as well as field ...

Late-Glacial Cwm Glaciers In Wales [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Glaciology, 1957
Abstract The evidence for the existence of small glaciers in the cwms of the Caernarvonshire mountains during the Late-glacial Period is presented, and by an analysis of their distribution some of the factors responsible for their formation are deduced. These were primarily protection from insolation, drifting of snow into the cirques

Microstructure Reconstruction in Battery Electrodes Using Machine Learning Based on Low‐Voltage Focused Ion Beam–Scanning Electron Microscopy Tomography Images

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐voltage FIB‐SEM tomography combined with a image preprocessing pipeline improves phase contrast and enables reliable machine‐learning segmentation of conductive networks in lithium‐ion battery electrodes. Structural descriptors are extracted from segmented images, done semimanually and automated, and compared.

Variations in Atlantic surface ocean paleoceanography, 50°-80°N: A time-slice record of the last 30,000 years

open access: yes, 1995
Eight time slices of surface-water paleoceanography were reconstructed from stable isotope and paleotemperature data to evaluate late Quaternary changes in density, current directions, and sea-ice cover in the Nordic Seas and NE Atlantic.

Triple Junctions as Dislocation‐Like Defects: The Role of Grain Boundary Crystallography Revealed by Experiment and Atomistic Simulation

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Grain boundary triple junctions are an essential ingredient of the microstructure of polycrystalline materials. In this study, a triple junction is observed using atomic‐resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy and characterized. Computer simulations reveal that the junction has a dislocation character that is determined by the joining ...

PLANT MACROFOSSIL RECORDS | Late Glacial Multidisciplinary Studies

open access: yes, 2013
Amplitudes and rates of climate changes and environmental responses were especially high during the Late Glacial (ca. 16 000–11 500 years BP). By applying several methods on the same material (if possible on the same core to avoid correlation problems ...
