The values of Ni/Co, La/Sc, and Th/Cr (indicators of the composition of rock complexes eroded in paleowatersheds) and the values of CIA, Rb/Al, K/Al and K/Rb (indicators of the intensity of chemical weathering on land), typical for fine-grained clastic rocks of the Riphean of the Southern Urals were compared to the data given in the publication “Long ...

Late Riphean age of the crystalline basement of the carbonate cover of the Dzabkhan microcontinent
Stratigraphy and Geological Correlation, 2015The Dzabkhan microcontinent was earlier considered as a fragment of an ancient craton in the structure of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt. Deposits of the Tsagaan Oloom Formation were included in the shelf zone, under the assumption that they were related to the regional unconformity between the Early-Late Precambrian crystal formations.

Late Riphean Sedimentation in the Central Russian Aulacogen
Lithology and Mineral Resources, 2003Result of the analysis of combined structural, facies, mineralogical, and micropaleontological data suggest that the formation of the Central Russian Aulacogen was related to the evolution of a major strike-slip system in the Late Riphean on the Russian Plate.

New insights into the nature of the Late Riphean Eosolenides
Precambrian Research, 2009Abstract Studies of a morphologically diverse population of Eosolenides, organic-walled macrofossils from the Upper Mesoproterozoic (1015–1025 Ma) Lakhanda Group of southeastern Siberia, suggest that these elongate fossils may be remains of soft-bodied organisms having tube-grade organization.

Based on isotopic and geochemical data for Late Riphean dikes and sills and for Devonian dolerite dikes and basalt covers within the Sette-Daban rift in the western part of the Siberian platform, we proved conceptions about the participation of various deep sources in their formation.

GABBRO-PERIDOTITE SILLS OF THE LATE RIPHEAN DOVYREN PLUTONIC COMPLEX (northern Baikal area, Russia)
Геология и геофизика, 2018Abstract We report data on the geology, mineralogy, petrography, and chemistry of 733 Ma gabbro-peridotite sills from the Late Riphean Dovyren plutonic complex. Thick sills were differentiated into plagiolherzolite to olivine gabbronorite compositions by fractional crystallization of the K–Na series high-Mg low-alkali low-Ti picritic ...
