Neuromorphic Electronics for Intelligence Everywhere: Emerging Devices, Flexible Platforms, and Scalable System Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The perspective presents an integrated view of neuromorphic technologies, from device physics to real‐time applicability, while highlighting the necessity of full‐stack co‐optimization. By outlining practical hardware‐level strategies to exploit device behavior and mitigate non‐idealities, it shows pathways for building efficient, scalable, and ...

“Zero window approach”/trans alveolar-direct sinus lift technique with simultaneous implant placements in a case with residual bone height of 1.8 mm: A nobel approach

open access: yes
Deficient bone height in maxilla following tooth extraction is commonly seen, thus making sinus augmentation a necessity to gain vertical bone height and facilitate implant placements in such cases.

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

Long-Term Volumetric Stability of Maxillary Sinus Floor Augmentation Using a Xenograft Bone Substitute and Its Combination with Autologous Bone: A 6+ Year Retrospective Follow-Up Study Using Cone Beam Computed Tomography

open access: yesDentistry Journal
Deproteinised bovine bone (DBB) is widely used as bone substitute in maxillary sinus floor augmentation (MSFA) surgery. No previous studies have shown the long-term volumetric changes in the augmented bone when using DBB.

Service Parts Inventory Control with Lateral Transshipment that Takes Time [PDF]

open access: yes
In equipment-intensive industries such as truck manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, photo copiers, and airliners, service parts are often slow moving items for which, in some cases, the transshipment time is not negligible.

Phase Engineering of Atomically Precise Nanoclusters (APNCs) of Gold and Beyond

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Engineering the structural phase of materials is of paramount importance for both fundamental research and practical applications. In this Review, we summarize the recent progress in controlling the phases of atomically precise nanoclusters (APNCs) of gold, silver and copper, as well as bimetallic systems. The phase‐enabled material properties of APNCs

Inverted Steinmann pin technique: Simple and effective method for elevation of lateral tibial plateau depressed fractures (Schatzker type III)

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedic Reports
One may observe depressed tibial plateau fractures alone or in conjunction with intricate proximal tibia fractures. Traditionally, in complex fractures, the depressed fragment can be elevated by passing a bone tamp through the fracture itself.

Comparative Evaluation of Lateral Window and Crestal Sinus Lift Techniques for Implant Rehabilitation in the Posterior Maxilla

open access: yesGlobal Journal of Medical Research
Background: In the edentulous posterior maxilla, alveolar bone resorption and maxillary sinus pneumatization reduce bone height and density, complicating implant placement and often necessitating sinus augmentation procedures. ¹ Aim: This study aimed to compare the clinical, radiological, and patient-centred outcomes of direct (lateral window) versus ...

Transcatheter closure of symptomatic aortopulmonary window in an infant [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
An aortopulmonary window is a rare congenital cardiac defect. In the majority of symptomatic neonates and infants, primary surgical repair is the treatment of choice.

Laparoscopic approach to the left kidney avoiding colonic mobilization

open access: yes, 1994
A technique for laparoscopic removal of the left kidney is described. Using a transperitoneal approach, a window is created in the mesocolon lateral to the inferior mesenteric vein.
