Metaphyseal tibial level (MTL) screws: a modified percutaneous technique for lateral plateau depression fractures

open access: yes, 2015
Lateral tibial plateau fractures are more frequent than medial fractures, and those with articular depression are particularly challenging because of high displacement risk.

Soft and Transient Bioelectronics Enabled by Polymer‐Free Ti3C2Tx MXene Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We present Ti3C2Tx MXene hydrogel (MXgel) bioelectronics, a soft, flexible, and fully transient platform for high‐fidelity neural recording and stimulation. MXgel bioelectronics exhibit exceptional electrical conductivities, low electrochemical impedances, and high charge injection capacities.

Automatic Repositioning Technique for Digital Cell Based Window Comparators and Implementation within Mixed-Signal DFT Schemes

open access: yes, 2003
The possibility of using window comparators for the on-chip evaluation of signals in the analogue circuit part has been demonstrated and is shortly summarised One of the problems is the lot-to-lot variation of the comparator window.

Sub‐nm2 Ferroelectric Domains via Charged 180° Walls in ZrO2

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric ZrO2${\rm ZrO}_2$ thin films host closely spaced charged 180∘$^{\circ }$ domain walls that vertically compress polar domains beyond their lateral half‐unit‐cell limit. These head‐to‐head and tail‐to‐tail walls show distinct bulk‐like structures, natural oxygen‐mediated stabilization, and highly asymmetric mobility, highlighting new ...

Phase‐Engineered MoS2 Quantum Monolayer Catalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A new type of catalyst model—phase‐engineered MoS2 quantum‐monolayer catalyst (∼0.8 nm thick, < 6 nm in the lateral size; switchable freely among metallic 1T, semiconducting 2H, and a hybrid phase of metallic‐semiconducting 1T‐2H)—is reported. It can efficiently and stably drive photochemical H2, syngas and ammonia synthesis as a catalyst or co ...

Lateral Patellofemoral Ligament Reconstruction With Semitendinosus Allograft for Chronic Medial Patellar Subluxation

open access: yesVideo Journal of Sports Medicine
Background: The lateral patellofemoral ligament (LPFL) is a key stabilizing structure that prevents medial patellar subluxation. LPFL insufficiency may result from iatrogenic injury, particularly after lateral retinacular release in patients with ...

Synthesis of Bulk Superconducting LiNbO2 Crystals Through CaH2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
CaH2 reduction reconstructively transforms insulating LiNbO3 single crystals into superconducting bulk LiNbO2 with a critical temperature of Tc = 14.4 K. Scanning electron microscopy reveals large‐volume, high‐yield phase conversion. Magnetization measurements demonstrate a robust ∼ 77% Meissner shielding fraction, establishing bulk superconductivity ...

Microsecond-pulsed nanocalorimetry: a scalable approach for ultrasensitive heat capacity measurements

open access: yesMicrosystems & Nanoengineering
We introduce a nanocalorimetric technique based on microsecond-pulsed heating (µs-PHnC) that enables high-sensitivity, quasi-isothermal heat capacity measurements on nanoscale samples. Such resolution is critical for exploring thermodynamic signatures in
