We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

Torsion radicals of lattice ordered groups [PDF]
summary:We denote by $K$ the class of all cardinals; put $K^{\prime }= K \cup \lbrace \infty \rbrace $. Let $\mathcal C$ be a class of algebraic systems.

Microstructure Evolution of a VMnFeCoNi High‐Entropy Alloy After Synthesis, Swaging, and Annealing
The synthesis and processing (rotary swaging and annealing) of the novel VMnFeCoNi alloy is investigated, alongside the estimation of the grain size effect on hardness. Analysis of a wide grain size range of recrystallized microstructures (12–210 µm) reveals a low annealing twin density.

Trimer quantum spin liquid in a honeycomb array of Rydberg atoms
Quantum spin liquids are elusive but paradigmatic examples of strongly correlated quantum states that are characterized by long-range quantum entanglement.

Hydrogen‐Assisted Fracture of Iron‐Based Fe–Ni–Al Alloys
Principal relations and fracture mechanisms of single‐phase and precipitate‐strengthened Fe–Ni–Al alloys subjected to prior electrochemical hydrogen charging are identified. The mechanisms of hydrogen effect on strength and microhardness are discussed, including hydrogen‐induced increase in microhardness and the role of hydrogen in fracture behavior ...

Pinch-points to half-moons and up in the stars: The kagome skymap
Pinch point singularities, associated with flat band magnetic excitations, are tell-tale signatures of Coulomb spin liquids. While their properties in the presence of quantum fluctuations have been widely studied, the fate of the complementary ...

Lattice-ordered reduced special groups
The notion of a special group (SG) was introduced by \textit{M. A. Dickmann} and \textit{F. Miraglia} in Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 689 (2000; Zbl 1052.11027), as an abstract, first-order axiomatization of the theory of quadratic forms. The primary motivation of the paper under review is a very general and highly abstract ``local-global principle'' (Open ...
