Simulation of Particulate Matter Structure Detachment from Surfaces of Wall-Flow Filters for Elevated Velocities Applying Lattice Boltzmann Methods

open access: yesFluids, 2023
Rearrangement events in wall-flow filters lead to the formation of specific deposition patterns, which affect a filter’s pressure drop, its loading capacity and the separation efficiency.

BookNLP-fr, the French Versant of BookNLP. A Tailored Pipeline for 19th and 20th Century French Literature

open access: yesJournal of Computational Literary Studies
This paper presents BookNLP-fr: the adaptation to French of BookNLP, an existing NLP pipeline tailored for literary texts in English. We provide an overview of the challenges involved in the adaptation of such a pipeline to a new language: from the ...

Stone Lattices [PDF]

open access: yesFormalized Mathematics, 2015
Summary The article continues the formalization of the lattice theory (as structures with two binary operations, not in terms of ordering relations). In the paper, the notion of a pseudocomplement in a lattice is formally introduced in Mizar, and based on this we define the notion of the skeleton and the set of dense elements in a ...

Un brouillard flotte au fond du ravin – Les prédicats de quelques noms météorologiques [PDF]

open access: yesSHS Web of Conferences

Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Predicting Filter Medium Performances in Chamber Filter Presses with Digital Twins Using Neural Network Technologies

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Efficient solid–liquid separation is crucial in industries like mining, but traditional chamber filter presses depend heavily on manual monitoring, leading to inefficiencies, downtime, and resource wastage.

D’où viennent les relatives ? [PDF]

open access: yesStudii de Lingvistica, 2023
Relative clauses (of the type … le livre qui est sur la table…, la lettre que tu as écrite…) appeared in Latin by a shift from the correlative structure quas litteras scripsisti, eae… ‘quelle lettre tu as écrite, elle…’ to litterae quas scripsisti ...
