Exclusion and the growth of AI technology: a trade-theoretic analysis

open access: yesFrontiers in Human Dynamics
This study provides a four-good general equilibrium framework with international trade for assessing the impact of the advancement of automation and artificial intelligence (A&AI) on the welfare of a group of agents who are excluded from both owning ...

Continuum Behaviour of Lattice QED, Discretized with One-Sided Lattice Differences, in One-Loop Order [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
A lattice action for QED is considered, where the derivatives in the Dirac operator are replaced by one-sided lattice differences. A systematic expansion in the lattice spacing of the one-loop contribution to the fermion self energy, vacuum polarization ...

GAD65 Antibody ELISA With Extended Reportable Range: Validation and Guidance for Neurological Practice

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To (1) validate GAD65‐ELISA detection and quantification for type 1 diabetes mellitus and autoimmune neurological diagnoses, (2) correlate ELISA results (reference range < 5 IU/mL) with established radioimmunoprecipitation assay (RIA; ≤ 0.02 nmol/L), and (3) define ELISA clinical utility and pitfalls.

Lattice-Based Group Signature with Message Recovery for Federal Learning

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
Federal learning and privacy protection are inseparable. The participants in federated learning need to be the targets of privacy protection. On the other hand, federated learning can also be used as a tool for privacy attacks.

Mechanochemical Synthesis and Characterization of Nanostructured ErB4 and NdB4 Rare‐Earth Tetraborides

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

Spontaneous supersymmetry breaking in the 2d N=1 Wess-Zumino model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We study the phase diagram of the two-dimensional N=1 Wess-Zumino model using Wilson fermions and the fermion loop formulation. We give a complete non-perturbative determination of the ground state structure in the continuum and infinite volume limit. We

Lattice supersymmetry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
A method is proposed for latticizing a class of supersymmetric gauge theories, including N=4 super Yang-Mills. The technique is inspired by recent work on ``deconstruction''.

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Vers une décomposition des éventualités de déplacement strict du français : schémas spatio-temporels et composants de sens additionnels [PDF]

open access: yesSHS Web of Conferences
À partir de recherches antérieures sur l’expression du déplacement strict en français (par des verbes tels que arriver, partir, se rendre et sortir, par exemple), cette étude fait un bilan onomasiologique des composants sémantiques permettant de ...
