Quantum Circuit Implementation of Multi-Dimensional Non-Linear Lattice Models
The application of Quantum Computing (QC) to fluid dynamics simulation has developed into a dynamic research topic in recent years. With many flow problems of scientific and engineering interest requiring large computational resources, the potential of ...

Two-dimensional stable lattice Boltzmann simulation of turbulent flow in wavy walled channel
In recent years, the lattice Boltzmann equation has developed into a promising technique for computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The lattice Boltzmann model (LBM) approach is derived from the Boltzmann equation and kinetic theory, as opposed to the ...

Simulating Anomalous Dispersion in Porous Media Using the Unstructured Lattice Boltzmann Method
Flow in porous media is a significant challenge to many computational fluid dynamics methods because of the complex boundaries separating pore fluid and host medium.

Axisymmetric multiphase lattice Boltzmann method [PDF]
A lattice Boltzmann method for axisymmetric multiphase flows is presented and validated. The method is capable of accurately modeling flows with variable density. We develop the classic Shan-Chen multiphase model [ Phys. Rev. E 47 1815 (1993)] for axisymmetric flows. The model can be used to efficiently simulate single and multiphase flows.

Nonuniqueness of lattice Boltzmann schemes derived from finite difference methods
Recently, the construction of finite difference schemes from lattice Boltzmann schemes has been rigorously analyzed [Bellotti et al. (2022), Numer. Math. 152, pp. 1–40].
