Fluid–Structure Interaction Simulation of a Coriolis Mass Flowmeter Using a Lattice Boltzmann Method
In this paper, we use a fluid–structure interaction (FSI) approach to simulate a Coriolis mass flowmeter (CMF). The fluid dynamics is calculated by the open-source framework OpenLB, based on the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM). For the structural dynamics

Stability and stabilization of the lattice Boltzmann method [PDF]
We revisit the classical stability versus accuracy dilemma for the lattice Boltzmann methods (LBM). Our goal is a stable method of second-order accuracy for fluid dynamics based on the lattice Bhatnager-Gross-Krook method (LBGK). The LBGK scheme can be recognized as a discrete dynamical system generated by free flight and entropic involution.

Modeling epidemics by the lattice Boltzmann method [PDF]
In this paper, we demonstrate that the lattice Boltzmann method can be successfully adopted to investigate the dynamics of epidemics. Numerical simulations prove the excellent accuracy properties of the approach, which recovers the solution of the popular SIR model.

An Improved Lattice Boltzmann Method for Simulating High-Conductivity-Ratio Conjugate Heat Transfer
This paper presents an improved lattice Boltzmann method for simulating conjugate heat transfer. In conventional lattice Boltzmann methods, the coupling between thermal conductivity and relaxation time limits numerical stability for high-conductivity ...
