Lattice Boltzmann method for colloidal dispersions with phase change. [PDF]
Colloidal dispersions are known to undergo phase transition in a number of processes. This often gives rise to formation of structures in a flowing medium. In this paper, we present a model for flow of a colloidal dispersion with phase change.

Phase-field modeling droplet dynamics with soluble surfactants
Using lattice Boltzmann approach, a phase-field model is proposed for simulating droplet motion with soluble surfactants. The model can recover the Langmuir and Frumkin adsorption isotherms in equilibrium.

Layer orientation dictates charge transport in 2D conjugated metal–organic frameworks, yet controllable methods remain scarce. We report surfactant monolayer‐assisted on‐water synthesis of cm2‐scale Ni‐HHTP films with programmable face‐on and edge‐on orientations.

The possibilities of simulation of viscous incompressible fluid flows with lattice Boltzmann method are considered. Unlike the traditional discretization approach based on the use of Navier–Stokes equations, the lattice Boltzmann method uses a mesoscopic

Large size (∼100 µm) monolayer MoS2 grown by LPI‐CVD on n‐GaN exhibit a high n‐type doping, very low strain, and a type‐I band alignment at MoS2/GaN interface. Photocurrent measurements under illumination with photon energies from ∼2 to ∼5 eV show superior electro‐optical performances of these MoS2/n‐GaN heterojunctions as compared to Ni/n‐GaN devices ...
