A Lattice Boltzmann model for 2D fractional advection-dispersion equation: Theory and application
Natural soils and aquifers are inherently heterogenous and chemical transport through them is anomalous characterized by an early arrival followed by a persistent tail.

ZnSb reduces carrier concentration and suppresses Te volatilization, while Se substitution within QLs softens phonons and enhances anharmonicity. Swapped bilayers near twin boundaries strengthen phonon scattering and interlayer bonding. As a result, the optimal sample achieves an ultra‐high zT ∼1.51, cooling temperature difference of ∼70 K, power ...

A generalized lattice-spring lattice-Boltzmann model (GLLM) is introduced by adding a three-body force in the traditional lattice-spring model. This method is able to deal with bending deformation of flexible biological bodies in fluids. The interactions

Phase‐resolved experiments and atomistic simulations reveal asynchronous ordering behaviors in a eutectic high‐entropy alloy during isothermal annealing. Distinct defect transport mechanisms are identified in coexisting B2 and BCC phases, showing that vacancy and interstitial mediated diffusion governs phase‐dependent thermal stability.

In the present work, for the first time, the application of a Multi-Relaxation-Time Lattice Boltzmann (MRT-LB) model for large-eddy simulation (LES) of turbulent thermally driven flows on non-uniform grids is considered.

On different approaches to IRF lattice models. Part II
This paper represents a continuation of our previous work, where the Boltzmann weights (BWs) for several Interaction-Round-the Face (IRF) lattice models were computed using their relation to rational conformal field theories.

Semi-empirical approach to characterize thin water film behaviour in relation to droplet splashing in modelling aircraft icing [PDF]
Modelling the ice accretion in glaze regime for the supercooled large droplets is one of the most challenging problems in the aircraft icing field. The difficulties are related to the presence of the liquid water film on the surface in the glaze regime ...

Observation of Excitonic Instability in a Monolayer Ta2NiSe5 With Strain Disorder
Monolayer Ta2${\rm Ta}_2$NiSe5${\rm NiSe}_5$ sustains an excitonic insulating phase up to 190 K, with Raman signatures of gap opening and critical excitonic fluctuations. Thickness‐independent large gap ratios highlight strong exciton‐phonon coupling, while substrate‐induced strain disorder depresses Tc, establishing monolayer Ta2${\rm Ta}_2$NiSe5${\rm
