Towards quasi-transverse momentum dependent PDFs computable on the lattice
Transverse momentum dependent parton distributions (TMDPDFs) which appear in factorized cross sections involve infinite Wilson lines with edges on or close to the light-cone.

Lattice simulations for light nuclei: Chiral effective field theory at leading order [PDF]
We discuss lattice simulations of light nuclei at leading order in chiral effective field theory. Using lattice pion fields and auxiliary fields, we include the physics of instantaneous one-pion exchange and the leading-order S-wave contact interactions.

Dilaton EFT framework for lattice data
We develop an effective-field-theory (EFT) framework to analyze the spectra emerging from lattice simulations of a large class of confining gauge theories.

Parton distributions from lattice data: the nonsinglet case
We revise the relation between Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs) and matrix elements computable from lattice QCD, focusing on the quasi-Parton Distribution Functions (qPDFs) approach.

Renormalization and matching for the Collins-Soper kernel from lattice QCD
The Collins-Soper kernel, which governs the energy evolution of transverse- momentum dependent parton distribution functions (TMDPDFs), is required to accurately predict Drell-Yan like processes at small transverse momentum, and is a key ingredient for ...

Lattice Boltzmann simulation of droplet behaviour in microfluidic devices
We developed a lattice Boltzmann model to investigate the droplet dynamics in microfluidic devices. In our model, a stress-free boundary condition was proposed to conserve the total mass of flow system and improve the numerical stability for flows with ...

Determination of α s from static QCD potential: OPE with renormalon subtraction and lattice QCD
We determine the strong coupling constant α s from the static QCD potential by matching a theoretical calculation with a lattice QCD computation. We employ a new theoretical formulation based on the operator product expansion, in which renormalons are ...

Exact β-function of Yang-Mills theory in 2+1 dimensions
To set the stage, I discuss the β-function of the massless O(N) model in three dimensions, which can be calculated exactly in the large N limit. Then, I consider SU(N) Yang-Mills theory in 2+1 space-time dimensions.

Generative learning for the problem of critical slowing down in lattice Gross-Neveu model
In lattice field theory, Monte Carlo simulation algorithms get highly affected by critical slowing down in the critical region, where autocorrelation time increases rapidly.
