Genebanks must maintain viable seeds for decades. Seeds that germinate are clearly alive, but some seeds, often from wild populations, do not germinate because they are dormant, empty, aged, or damaged (D.E.A.D.). The Anatomical Record, EarlyView.In this study, 54 cadaveric temporal bone specimens underwent high‐resolution micro‐CT imaging. Images were semi‐automatically segmented and converted to 3D surface mesh models for morphological measurement and analysis.
