Analysis of Mycoplasma gallisepticum Infection Factors in Commercial Layer Chicken Farm Using Analytical Hierarchy Process

open access: yesJournal of Vocational Health Studies, 2017
Background : Mycoplasma galliseptium (MG) is a pathogenic microbial often found in poultry farm industry. In Indonesia there are rarely data of MG research. There are some factors increased the risk of MG infection.

Layer by layer generation of cluster states

open access: yes, 2011
Cluster states can be used to perform measurement-based quantum computation. The cluster state is a useful resource, because once it has been generated only local operations and measurements are needed to perform universal quantum computation.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Onset of the humoral immune response of layer chicks vaccinated in ovo with strain F Mycoplasma gallisepticum vaccine and evidence of male-biased mortality

open access: yesPoultry Science, 2022
Previous trials in which layers were in ovo-vaccinated against strain F Mycoplasma gallisepticum (FMG) showed that nearly 50% of the birds produced IgM antibody against FMG at 6 wk of age (WOA). Standard FMG vaccination application at 9 or 10 woa, result

Der biomedizinische Fortschritt: Chancen, Grenzen und Verantwortung [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Greater numbers and sizes of muscle bundles in the breast and leg muscles of broilers compared to layer chickens

open access: yesFrontiers in Physiology, 2023
Meat-type (broiler) and egg-type (layer) chickens were bred by intensive selection over the years, resulting in more numbers and larger sizes of myofibers.
