ABSTRACT Polycentric governance is a trust‐intensive and trust‐dependent governance that should actively seek to build and restore trust. The different ways in which this is done are poorly understood. On the superlinear Lazer–McKenna conjecture
The authors consider the following elliptic problem \[ \begin{gathered} -\Delta u= |u|^p- s\varphi_1(x)\quad\text{in }\Omega,\\ u= 0\quad\text{on }\partial\Omega\end{gathered}\tag{1} \] where \(p\in (1,{N+2\over N-2})\) if \(N\geq 3\), \(p\in (1,+\infty)\) if \(N= 1,2\), \(s> 0\) is a positive parameter, \(\varphi_1(x)> 0\) is the eigenfunction of ...
