Nanoparticle‐Mediated Immunometabolic‐Epigenetic Remodeling Enhances Schwann Cell‐Macrophage Interaction for Sciatic Nerve Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A biomimetic Prussian White nanoparticle (PW) is engineered to achieve long‐term local retention and orchestrate immunometabolic‐epigenetic remodeling for sciatic nerve regeneration. PW directly targets hexokinase 2 to suppress glycolysis, thereby elevating α‐ketoglutarate and driving Kdm4a/b‐mediated demethylation of H3K9me3.

Evaluation of the Biological Effect of a Nicotinamide-Containing Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen on Photodamaged Skin [PDF]

open access: yes
Introduction: UVA-UVB increases skin matrix metalloproteinases and breaks down extracellular proteins and fibrillar type 1 collagen, leading to photodamage. Topical application of nicotinamide prevents UV-induced immunosuppression.

Diversity, Distribution and Evolution of the Planktonic Diatom Family Chaetocerotaceae [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The number and abundance of diatom species in environmental samples are counted traditionally by means of light microscopy (LM). However, recognizing –let alone, counting- species is often challenging because of the existence of cryptic species and ...

Mechanically Robust Biodegradable Stents With Theragenerative Vascular Responses via Combined 3D Printing and Janus Nanoengineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces a theragenerative 3D‐printed biodegradable stent with Janus nanoarchitecture for spatially controlled vascular healing. A luminal tantalum ion–implanted surface accelerates endothelialization and hemocompatibility, while an abluminal sirolimus/poly‐L‐lactic acid–tantalum layer provides sustained drug release and suppresses smooth ...

Pyroptosis‐Inducing Engineered Microparticles for Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Engineered microparticles co‐delivering geldanamycin and dual nanobodies induce targeted pyroptosis and block PD‐L1 and CD47 pathways, reprogramming the tumor microenvironment and achieving potent antitumor immunity in lung cancer models with minimal toxicity.
