Design of optimal LDPC code for the system of GMSK concatenated with LDPC codes

This paper mainly concerns on the continuous phase modulation system of GMSK concatenated with LDPC codes. Decomposing GMSK signal into differential coding and PAM modulating manner, we analyze the iterative demodulating and decoding principle and design optimal LDPC codes based on EXIT chart.

A high-throughput memory-efficient decoder architecture for low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes is proposed based on a novel turbo decoding algorithm. The architecture benefits from various optimizations performed at three levels of abstraction in system design-namely LDPC code design, decoding algorithm, and decoder architecture.
