AGN Feedback Signatures in UV Emission

open access: yesGalaxies
Supermassive black holes (SMBH) are believed to influence galaxy evolution through AGN (active galactic nuclei) feedback. Galaxy mergers are key processes of galaxy formation that lead to AGN activity and star formation.

All that glitters is not gold: high uptake on PSMA PET in non-prostate cancers does not mean that treatment with [<177Lu]Lu-PSMA-radioligand will be successful [PDF]

open access: yes
Background The main objective is to discuss why treatment of non-prostate cancers with [177Lu]Lu-PSMAradioligand achieved only low tumor dose in most published cases, despite high uptake on PSMA PET.

Fabrication of Pyridinic Nitrogen‐Functionalized Carbon Cloth for High‐Performance Iron‐Chromium Flow Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The carbon cloth electrode with targeted pyridinic nitrogen doping, achieved via urea pyrolysis, effectively modulates the adsorption of Cr(II) species and enhances electron transfer, leading to significantly improved kinetics of the Cr(II)/Cr(III) reaction. The material demonstrates a high discharge capacity of 689.3 mAh and an energy efficiency of 72.
