Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Leader Affective Displays and Attributions of Charisma: The Role of Arousal [PDF]

open access: yes
Research suggests that leader displays of positive affect are conducive to attributions of charisma. We qualify and extend this conclusion by arguing that this mainly holds for displays of positive affect that are associated with high levels of arousal ...

Motion control of multiple autonomous ships to approach a target without being detected

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems, 2018
We introduce a motion control which is a stealth strategy of a team of autonomous ships to approach a target without being detected. The target is equipped with a radar to detect a nearby ship. In the team, one ship, the leader, has a stealth ability not

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

LEADERSHIP AND CRISIS BASED ON CONTINGENCY APPROACH AND LEADER’S FATAL FLAWS A CASE STUDY IN X INSTITUTE INDONESIA

open access: yesJurnal Aplikasi Manajemen, 2020
The power of a leader is on the impact on the people that he leads, the organization’s condition and the sustainability of the organization.Conditions in the organization is a difficult thing to predict. Every decision taken has a different impact.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Loss leader or low margin leader? Advertising and the degree of product differentiation [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper attempts to isolate the conditions that give rise to loss leader pricing. I show that for sufficiently low distance between firms, the advertised good is priced below cost irrespective of whether firms advertise the same or different products.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

A LEADER program hatása a Szerencsi járásra

open access: yes, 2017
A szakdolgozatomban a LEADER program hatását vizsgáltam a Szerencsi járásban. A szakirodalmi áttekintésben taglaltam a vidék fogalmát és funkcióját, majd a LEADER program magyarországi fejlődését ismertettem. Az eredmények fejezetben bemutatásra került a
