O filocrono é definido como o tempo necessário para o aparecimento de folhas sucessivas em um colmo, no caso de espécies da família das Poáceas. Através do filocrono, pode-se calcular o número de folhas acumuladas, o que é uma excelente maneira de ...

Improving predictions of leaf appearance in field grown potato [PDF]
The calculation of leaf appearance rate (LAR) and number of accumulated or emerged leaves (NL) on the main stem are part of many crop simulation models. The purpose of this study was to adapt and evaluate a model (WE model) for simulating the main stem LAR and NL in potato (Solanum tuberosum L.).

Leaf appearance rate and phyllochron on millet sowing dates
The objective of this study was to determine the leaf appearance rate and phyllochron as affected by millet sowing dates. The experiment was conducted with six sowing dates (11/28/2019, 12/03/2019, 12/10/2019, 12/17/2019, 12/30/2019 and 01/14/2020). The sowing was performed in plots with six rows of 2 m length and spacing of 0.25 m between rows.

Semantic Part Segmentation using Compositional Model combining Shape and Appearance [PDF]
In this paper, we study the problem of semantic part segmentation for animals. This is more challenging than standard object detection, object segmentation and pose estimation tasks because semantic parts of animals often have similar appearance and ...
