Inheritance of a Lutescent-Leaf Color Trait in Peanut [PDF]
A Lutescent-Leaf color mutant was recently found in the cultivated peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.). Crosses involving the Lutescent-Leaf mutant were made both between and within subspecies of hypogaea and fastigiata to determine its inheritance. The F1, F2, and F3 data indicated that two duplicate recessive genes, designated lut1 and lut2, control the ...

Impact of Leaf Removal, Applied Before and After Flowering, on Anthocyanin, Tannin, and Methoxypyrazine Concentrations in ‘Merlot’ (Vitis viniferaL.) Grapes and Wines [PDF]
7siThe development and accumulation of secondary metabolites in grapes determine wine color, taste, and aroma. This study aimed to investigate the effect of leaf removal before flowering, a practice recently introduced to reduce cluster compactness and ...

Color disease leaf image segmentation using NAMS superpixel algorithm
BACKGROUND: Disease leaf segmentation in color image is used to explore the disease shape and lesion regions. It is of great significance for pathological diagnosis and pathological research. OBJECTIVE: This paper proposes a superpixel algorithm using Non-symmetry and Anti-packing Model with Squares (NAMS) for color image segmentation of leaf disease ...

Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

Understanding Decoherence of the Boron Vacancy Center in Hexagonal Boron Nitride
State‐of‐the‐art computations unravel the intricate decoherence dynamics of the boron vacancy center in hexagonal boron nitride across magnetic fields from 0 to 3 T. Five distinct regimes emerge, dominated by nuclear spin interactions, revealing optimal coherence times of 1–20 µs in the 180–350 mT range for isotopically pure samples.

Impact of Apple Rust Mite (Acari: Eriophyiidae) Feeding on Apple Leaf Gas Exchange and Leaf Color Associated with Changes in Leaf Tissue [PDF]
The impact of the apple rust mite, Aculus schlechtendali (Nalepa), on net CO2 exchange, transpiration rate, and leaf color of field-grown Jonagold and Golden Delicious apples was investigated. Apple rust mite feeding causes leaf browning. Changes in leaf
