Cereal leaf beetle standardized survey methods

open access: yes, 2001
These standardized survey methods were designed by the Western Cereal Leaf Beetle Working Group (WCLBWG) in the spring of 2001. The WCLBWG serves as an informal scientific forum and regional partnership to foster the exchange information pertaining to ...

Monolithically 3D‐Printed Spectral‐Spatial Meta‐Authenticators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A single height map printed in a low‐index resin by two‐photon lithography encodes multiple visible wavelengths in one metasurface without any polarization optics. A fabrication‐aware optimization folds the printable height levels into the design, so the device is printed as optimized.

Genetic variability study in pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R. Br. for green fodder yield and related traits [PDF]

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding, 2015
A field experiment was carried out in pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R. Br.) with 30 genotypes including three check varieties, to study genetic variability for green fodder yield and its related characters.

Near‐Infrared Imaging of H2O2 in Plants With Nanosensors Under Environmentally Changing Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This paper reports a ratiometric nanosensor enabling robust, multivariate detection of stress signals (H2O2) in plants, with high resistance to light fluctuations and mechanical disturbances. Single‐walled carbon nanotubes serve as the sensor, Egyptian Blue nanosheets serve as a stable reference, and plant autofluorescence serves as a label‐free ...

Life‐Like Ferrous Oxide Microspheres from Kombucha

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Kombucha bacterial cellulose, sodium alginate, and ferrous nitrate self‐assemble into membrane‐enclosed iron oxide microspheres. These microspheres bud daughter vesicles, sustain 24‐h electrochemical oscillations, and filter theta‐band signals.

Light‐Controlled Localized Delamination and Blistering of Azobenzene‐Containing Polymer Thin Films in an Aqueous Environment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
When exposed to light of a defined wavelength, the photoisomerization of azobenzene chromophores leads to polymer reorientation, generating stresses that result in solvent‐facilitated localized delamination of the film from the substrate. Additionally, blisters that form spontaneously when exposed to an aqueous environment can be manipulated via ...

High Energy Photon Induced Defect Engineering in Ultra‐Thin Indium Oxide Transistors for BEOL‐Compatible Logic Circuits

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Xenon flash lamp annealing modulates oxygen‐vacancy states in 1‐nm‐thick ALD In2O3 transistors within a single 139 µs pulse. The photon‐induced defect engineering shifts the threshold voltage, improves bias‐stress stability, and narrows device‐to‐device variation across 64 devices. Combining pristine and treated transistors yields NMOS inverters with a

EVALUATION OF THREE WILD SPECIES OF ALMOND ON THE BASIS OF THEIR MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Central European Agriculture, 2007
Due to the suitable climatic conditions, Iran is one of the most important growing centre for wild and domesticated species/varieties of almond. Because of the adaptability of wild almond species to severe environmental conditions and resistance to ...

Beyond Passivation: Designing Structurally Tailored Artificial Interphases for High‐Energy Lithium‐Based Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This review outlines critical engineering design rules for building artificial protective coatings on next‐generation lithium metal and silicon battery anodes. It highlights how balancing structural flexibility with strict electronic and ionic transport limits prevents early battery failure.
