Quantum resistance metrology in graphene [PDF]
We have performed a metrological characterization of the quantum Hall resistance in a 1 $\mu$m wide graphene Hall-bar. The longitudinal resistivity in the center of the $\nu=\pm 2$ quantum Hall plateaus vanishes within the measurement noise of 20 m ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

High-frequency transformers offered numerous advantages but also presented several challenges. As frequency increased, the dimensions of the transformer decreased, making parasitic parameters more dominant and unavoidable.

The tropical climate of Indonesia, which has moderately high rainfall, has an impact on the output of outdoor insulators. The presence of chemical particles, pollen, and salt in the air will bind to the insulating material's outer surface and settle ...

Effect of Flow Instabilities and Self-Sustained Oscillations on Labyrinth Seal Leakage Resistance [PDF]
Two flow instabilities involving a bifurcated flow pattern were discovered for the throughflow jet in a stepped labyrinth seal. A bifurcation stability map was developed showing which combinations of tooth clearance and step height occur in which of the three flow regimes.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Field-effect transistor improves electrometer amplifier [PDF]
An electrometer amplifier uses a field effect transistor to measure currents of low amperage. The circuit, developed as an ac amplifier, is used with an external filter which limits bandwidth to achieve optimum noise ...

Improvement of detectability for CMOS floating gate defects in supply current test [PDF]
We already proposed a supply current test method for detecting floating gate defects in CMOS ICs. In the method, increase of the supply current caused by defects is promoted by superposing a sinusoidal signal on the supply voltage.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...
