TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.

Leakage Power Analysis and Comparison of Deep Submicron Logic Gates
Basic combinational gates, including NAND, NOR and XOR, are fundamental building blocks in CMOS digital circuits. This paper analyses and compares the power consumption due to transistor leakage of low-order and high-order basic logic gates. The NAND and

Functional and Structural Evidence of Neurofluid Circuit Aberrations in Huntington Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Disrupted neurofluid regulation may contribute to neurodegeneration in Huntington disease (HD). Because neurofluid pathways influence waste clearance, inflammation, and the distribution of central nervous system (CNS)–delivered therapeutics, understanding their dysfunction is increasingly important as targeted treatments emerge.

Epilepsy‐Associated Variants of a Single SCN1A Codon Exhibit Divergent Functional Properties
ABSTRACT Objective Pathogenic variants in SCN1A, which encodes the voltage‐gated sodium channel NaV1.1, are associated with multiple epilepsy syndromes exhibiting a range of clinical severity. SCN1A variants are reported in different syndromes, including Dravet syndrome, which is associated with loss‐of‐function, whereas neonatal/infantile‐onset ...

Sub-Clock Power-Gating Technique for Minimising Leakage Power During Active Mode
This paper presents a new technique, called sub-clock power gating, for reducing leakage power in digital circuits. The proposed technique works concurrently with voltage and frequency scaling and power reduction is achieved by power gating within the ...
