Large‐Area Printed PEDOT:PSS Shielding and Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) on Textiles
An all‐polymer e‐textile frequency selective surface (FSS) can present controlled shielding, presenting a competitive alternative to metal‐based inks. The results show how PEDOT: PSS‐based e‐textiles could be applied in RF devices for future wearable applications.

Optimization of planar periodic leaky-wave antennas by selective surface-wave suppression [PDF]
Planar periodic ‘bull-eye’ leaky-wave antennas are investigated for two-sided frequency beam scanning and broadside radiation at microwave and millimeter-wave frequencies. In particular, the ground plane and the radial configuration of the structures are

As presented in the graphical abstract, it depicts an image of a terahertz photonic crystal fiber (THz‐PCF) sensor with a polygonal shape in the core, which is filled with an analyte, and air slots in the cladding. The THz waves will travel through the fiber, and due to increased light‐matter interaction in the sensing region, changes in refractive ...

PAMELA: a useful tool for the study of leaky-wave modes in strip-loaded open dielectric waveguides [PDF]
A software tool is presented to help in the teaching of the electromagnetic theory of open dielectric waveguides. The study of the modal spectrum of canonical closed waveguides is a basic topic in any course of electromagnetics or microwave engineering ...

A Hybrid Computational Framework for PCF‐based SPR Sensor With Machine Learning and xAI
A photonic crystal fiber‐based surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor integrating rectangular air holes along with conventional circular air holes achieves exceptional wavelength sensitivity of 15,000 nm/RIU across a broad refractive index range of 1.31–1.39. Integrated machine learning with explainable AI (xAI) models achieves high prediction accuracy

We introduce an additively manufactured bioreactor with a perfusion flow system and integrated temperature and pH sensors for skeletal muscle tissue biofabrication. The bioreactor's performance was evaluated by assessing the viability, spreading of the myoblast cells in a printed scaffold, and contraction of the isolated murine musculi interossei ...
