We introduce an additively manufactured bioreactor with a perfusion flow system and integrated temperature and pH sensors for skeletal muscle tissue biofabrication. The bioreactor's performance was evaluated by assessing the viability, spreading of the myoblast cells in a printed scaffold, and contraction of the isolated murine musculi interossei ...

Efficient Wireless Near-Field Links Between Bessel-Beam Launchers
The focused nature of Bessel beams allows for secure and efficient wireless links in the near-field region. Still, at millimeter waves, few studies analyze the transmission efficiency between devices in a systematic way. In addition, present studies only

Spacer‐Less Substrate‐Integrated Metasurface for Near‐Unity Terahertz Absorption
ABSTRACT Although conventional metal‐insulator‐metal (MIM) terahertz (THz) absorbers can provide near‐unity absorption, their multilayer stacks inevitably introduce additional thickness, mass, and residual stress, which limit their compatibility with THz thermal sensing platforms.

GeSn Quantum Wells for Room‐Temperature Mid‐Infrared Lasing on Si and on Insulator Platforms
This work demonstrates a high‐performance GeSn‐on‐Insulator (GeSnOI) platform achieving laser emission up to room temperature. By utilizing Group IV GeSn quantum well heterostructures, we successfully reached a target wavelength of 3.3 µm. This advancement paves the way for fully integrated Mid‐IR photonic CMOS‐compatible sources, overcoming the ...
