The Development of LED Marker Lamp
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2003<div class="htmlview paragraph">LEDs have been applied to automotive exterior lighting more and more. Compared with incandescent lamps, LED light directivity is variable by changing epoxy resin lens form. This characteristic has enabled us to develop a new system in which oval light distribution pattern is formed by combining direct beams from ...

Wireless network node of LED street lamps
2015 IEEE International Conference on Electro/Information Technology (EIT), 2015A wireless communication of LED (light emitting diode) street lamps is studied based on ZigBee protocol working with 2.4GHz. The experiment is done between two nodes of wireless LED street lamps, and the result shows that PER is blow 1% when their distance is less than 43m which satisfies the requirement of wireless network of LED street lamps.

Compact Emergency Lamp Using Power LEDs
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2012This paper presents a compact emergency lamp using light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The goal is to develop a compact and low-cost electronic circuit to drive and control the current of LEDs arranged in a single enclosure. The main advantage of the proposed idea is to use the same equipment in the daily activities, supplied by the ac line, and under a ...

Failure causes and mechanisms of retrofit LED lamps
Microelectronics Reliability, 2015Abstract This paper describes one of the first studies of the degradation of retrofit light bulbs based on white GaN light emitting diodes. The results indicate that the lifetime of LED lamps depends mostly on the stability of the driver and optical elements, rather than on the degradation of the LED chips, that have a stable output over stress time.
