The Kroll-Lee-Zumino Model and Pion Form Factors

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2010
At the one loop level, we make use of the renormalizable Abelian quantum field theory model of Kroll, Lee, and Zumino (KLZ) in order to compute the vertex corrections to the tree‐level, Vector Meson Dominance (VMD) electromagnetic pion form factor. This result, together with the one‐loop vacuum polarization contribution, implies an electromagnetic pion

Harmonicity, minimality, conformality, in terms of horizontal and vertical Lee forms

Publicationes Mathematicae Debrecen, 2001
The authors study holomorphic maps \( \Phi: (M,g,J) \to (N,\widetilde{g},\widetilde{J}) \) of constant rank between almost Hermitian manifolds w.r.t. the properties named in the title, using the \textit{H.-C. Lee} form \( \alpha \) [Am. J. Math. 65, 433-438 (1943; Zbl 0060.38302)] and its decomposion into horizontal and vertical parts \( \alpha_{h ...

““Another Form of Her Genius””: Lee Miller in the Kitchen

Gastronomica, 2010
Lee Miller was a Vogue cover girl in New York in the mid-to-late 1920s. In the early thirties she was Man Ray's muse, student, and lover in Paris, where she also worked as both photographer and model for Paris Vogue, as well as for numerous courtiers, including Patou and Scheperelli.

The Experience of Form (Bewilderment at the Vatican in George Eliot and Vernon Lee)

2020
The consolidation of the fields of art history and archeology in the nineteenth century was characterized by a number of fundamental revisions that were bound to track unevenly with developments in taste. Shifts in aesthetic values and in the history of art itself presented unavoidable challenges to the status of major collections.

Form factors of descendant operators in the Lee-Yang model

2005
The form factors of the descendant operators in the massive Lee-Yang model are determined up to level 7. This is first done by exploiting the conserved quantities of the integrable theory to generate the solutions for the descendants starting from the lowest non-trivial solutions in each operator family.

MIMIC models and formative measurement: some thoughts on Lee, Cadogan & Chamberlain

AMS Review, 2013
Several problematic issues in Lee, Cadogan and Chamberlain’s (2013) paper on MIMIC models and formative measurement are identified and discussed. It is argued that MIMIC models can be used with formative measurement specifications and that replacing the formative measurement model with a (non-testable) composite does not contribute to better ...
