Ancient Hungarian Grave near Glinoe Village on the Left Bank of the Lower Dniester

The article analyzes the early medieval grave Glinoe 13/2 investigated in 2008 on the left bank of the Lower Dniester. The burial was sunk into the Scythian barrow. The inventory included a knife, an earring, an awl and a fireflint. The sheep femur lay behind the skull of the buried.

Stones from Ritual Vessels Found in Scythian Graves on the Left Bank of the Lower Dniester River

The paper deals with 221 burnt stones from the Scythian graves found on the left bank of the Lower Dniester dated to the 5th—2nd centuries BC. All of them, if it was fixed, come from wooden or handmade ritual vessels. Stones of approximately the same size and without traces of processing were used as heating elements.

Textile and Felt Items from Scythian Graves of the 4th—2nd centuries BC Found on the Left Bank of the Lower Dniester

The article deals with textile finds from Scythian graves found on the left bank of the Lower Dniester. The study of textile and felt from this region was carried out for the first time. The study of woven fragments from five burials showed that they are the remains of linen linings of leather covers for bronze mirrors.

Cat’s Grave of the Golden Horde Time in a Kurgan on the Left Bank of the Lower Dniester

The article publishes for the first time the findings of three structures from the time of the Golden Horde, which were studied in 2019 at kurgan 1 of the “Plavni” group near the village of Glinoe. Scythian Barrow of the Second Half of the 6th Century BC on the Left Bank of the Lower Dniester

The article introduces and analyzes the findings from the study of Scythian burial 6 in barrow 8 of the “North” group near Glinoe village on the left bank of the Lower Dniester. The burial mound was constructed over the main cremated Scythian grave in a square pit, oriented with its angles to the cardinal directions.
