Invariants of a general branched cover of ${\bf P}^{1}$ [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
We investigate the resolution of a general branched cover $\alpha : C \to {\bf P}^1$ in its relative canonical embedding $C \subset {\bf P} E$. We conjecture that the syzygy bundles appearing in the resolution are balanced for a general cover, provided that the genus is sufficiently large compared to the degree.

On the Stability and the Approximation of Branching Distribution Flows, with Applications to Nonlinear Multiple Target Filtering [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2010
We analyse the exponential stability properties of a class of measure-valued equations arising in nonlinear multi-target filtering problems. We also prove the uniform convergence properties w.r.t. the time parameter of a rather general class of stochastic filtering algorithms, including sequential Monte Carlo type models and mean eld particle ...

Pitfalls and tips for lumenless lead extraction inserted deep within the ventricular septum

open access: yesClinical Case Reports
Key Clinical Message This case highlights the pitfalls and provides tips for the extraction of deeply implanted lumenless leads, and encourages careful lead selection in the current era of widespread left bundle branch area pacing.

Programming of cardiac implantable electronic devices for conduction system pacing: an information and practical review

open access: yesРоссийский кардиологический журнал
Conduction system pacing is widely used as an alternative to right ventricular pacing and, in some cases, as an alternative to biventricular pacing for cardiac resynchronization therapy. Proper programming of an implantable electronic device is essential
